Last Month, ADCC International East Africa Ltd. held CAD and GIS software demo sessions at the University of Nairobi’s, School of the Built Environment.
The School of the Built environment hosted a PhD seminar for three students on Wednesday 8th October 2014. The three PhD students within the school of the built environment presented their work to a panel of discussants including Prof. Robert Rukwaro, Prof. Peter Ngau, Dr. Mary Kimani, Dr. O. A. K’ Akumu, Dr. Musyimi Mbathi and Dr. Grace Lubaale. The presenters were giving their latest research report to the discussants for analysis and comments

The Foundation for Urban and Regional Studies (FURS), is offering a post-doctoral Research Fellow, The Fellowship is to be based at the University of Cape Town in the African Centre for Cities (ACC). The purpose of the Fellowship is to extend the applicant’s doctoral research into a publishable research monograph or papers, or to begin new research in urban and regional studies. This will be for full twelve months in 2015. Applications are due by Friday 12 September 2014.

On 12th August 2014, the School of the Built Environment (SBE) signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with ADCC International East Africa Ltd. The purpose of this MOU is to establish collaboration between ADCC and SBE for the delivery of software training to students. The signing of the MOU would facilitate the co-operation and communication exchange between the said institutions.
